Can you suggest a hairstyle & color that will go with my face shape & skin tone?

Yes every designer at Salon Cabochon is trained to evaluate your bone structure, eye color, and skin tone. Your best features will be accentuated and we can find a way to camouflage areas that you think could be your flaws. While keeping in mind your time and your lifestyle.

Will coloring or highlighting, damage my hair?

No, with the products and techniques that we use, we are able and willing to produce amazing results. Our color line that we use is called Wella, and has a very low amount of ammonia formulated within, as well as a strengthening agent called keratin. Wella's lightening powder is so gentle that we are able to overlap other chemical services. As long as our clients understand that the proper home care products are recommended.

Will the Japanese straighter damage my hair?

No, the straightening is very gentle. It is full of protein and collagen. Before any straightening service we always need to have you come in for a consultation, where we evaluate your hair and do an elasticity test to determine if your hair is in the proper condition to go through the service.

How is the straighter permanent?

By applying the thermal (heat) and the reconditioning (relaxes). It allows us to straighten any existing hair. The hair that is treated remains straight. Depending on how fast your hair grows you will need to reapply the service to any out growth of hair, usually about every 6 to 8 months.

How much will my hair relax with a Simi permanent relaxer?

60 to 80%, this is good for someone who still wants some body to their hair. Usually needing to be redone about 3 to 4 months depending on how fast your hair grows.

Make-Up

Can you help me with my make-up application?

Yes, all of are staff is trained in advanced make-up applications. Make-up classes are also available.

Since I am changing my hair color, should I change my make -up?

Yes, any time you drastically change your hair color, you will need to change your make-up colors. Our staff is trained to assist you with the appropriate colors, based on many variables, your skin, bone structure, eyes, hair and clothing.
